Automatic logical transitions of Active Contact Type occur between Prospect, Registered, and Alumni student types.
When a new contact is created with the Active Contact Type set to Prospect Student, then the Active Contact Type will change when:
- a Program Version Detail record is created for the student and set to 'Active' (Prospect Student changes to Registered Student)
- the "Student Program Version Status" is set to "Completion of Program" (Registered Student changes to Alumni)
- the "Student Program Version Status" is set to "Completion of Program" (Registered Student changes to Alumni)
A conversion history of the 3 types (Prospect to Registered to Alumni) are captured in the Contact Conversion table.
