  • Version 9.7.0.0
The new Admissions Rules Set Up feature empowers users to meticulously configure academic offerings by allowing them to designate specific programs, courses, and course sections to be available during particular terms within the academic year. This functionality ensures a structured and sequential workflow, enabling users to establish rules that mandate the completion of one step before progressing to the next. By enforcing these rules, the feature guarantees a systematic process, preventing users from advancing to subsequent steps without completing the prerequisite ones, thereby enhancing efficiency and accuracy in admissions procedures.

Frequency Foundry is thrilled to introduce greymatter version 9.7, packed with new features and enhancements to streamline academic planning and scheduling for Higher Education institutions. This release focuses on giving CRM users greater control over specifying program and course offerings during specific academic terms. The enhancements include:

CRM
Users will now be able to specify the specific academic periods for a program or for a course for which the program will be available for students.

Programs
  • In order to enter a Pre-med Program, a student must complete mandatory prerequisite science classes such as Sciences Program for Pre-med. With the new Admissions Rules Set Up feature, a rule can be configured to ensure that a student must complete Sciences for Pre-med in the Fall term prior to starting the Pre-med Program in the Winter term.
Courses
  • In order to take English 102 you must take English 101 first, so English 101 is only offered during Fall terms so that students can take English 102 only during Winter terms.

Portal
Students will be able to select a Program or Program Version associated with an academic period while submitting a Program Application in the Student Portal.
