  • Version 9.7.0.0
The Guest Count Management feature has been introduced as a part of greymatter version 9.7 with the primary objective of augmenting the existing Event Management functionality. This enhancement facilitates the meticulous management of guests accompanying registrants at events and further refines the associated capacity management process. This refinement contributes to an elevated user experience and empowers event organizers with improved control over guest management. Unlike the previous implementation, where guest count operated independently of total registration or capacity, this feature seamlessly integrates guest count into the broader registration framework, offering a more cohesive and efficient event management experience.

We are excited to present greymatter Version 9.7, introducing a robust Guest Management for Events feature. This enhancement is tailored to meet the dynamic needs of higher education institutes, empowering event organizers with comprehensive control over guest count and registration capacities. The enhanced feature highlights are as below:
CRM:
1. Guest Count Management Process
greymatter CRM now allows users to define a streamlined process for managing guests accompanying the registrant to an event. This feature is designed to provide a flexible and intuitive way to handle guest registrations seamlessly.
2. Registration Capacity Control
Event creators can now determine whether the guest count should contribute to the overall registration capacity. This flexibility ensures that the registration process aligns with the specific requirements of each event, whether it's open to additional guests or strictly limited to registered attendees.
3. Maximum Guest Limit Settings
To provide granular control, event creators can set limits on the maximum number of guests allowed per event or per schedule. This empowers organizers to tailor the guest experience and resource allocation based on the unique characteristics of each event.
4. Separate Indication of Guest and Registrant Counts
greymatter introduces a distinct indication of guest count and registrant count, allowing event organizers to make informed decisions about adjusting event capacity as needed. This separation ensures a clear understanding of the overall event dynamics.
