CRM/Portal: Program Application - Internal and External Statuses
- Shekar Kadaba
- Version 9.7.0.0
The greymatter version 9.7 release introduces a dynamic Program Application feature with both Internal and External Statuses, specifically designed to streamline the Graduate Program Application process. We've incorporated a range of new Review Statuses and implemented workflows that semi-automate status updates based on data presence, enhancing the efficiency of the application process. Students can interact with the system through portal menus based on Internal Status, while the External Status, also known as Application Status, is transparently exposed to the applicant student, providing them with real-time updates on their application progress.
Review Statuses added in version greymatter v9.7
- Adjudication Process: Adjudication Review and Adjudication Complete
- Faculty of Graduate Studies: Review, Approved, and Declined
- Graduate Program Director: Review, Approved, and Declined
- Admission Deferral: Deferral Requested, Deferral in Review, Deferral Approved, Deferral Declined
- Deposit Refund: Refund Requested, Refund in Review, Refund Declined, Cancelled/Refunded
These statuses, among other existing Internal statuses, determine the action a student will be expected to perform through the Portal menu. The Internal and External statuses are not built as dependent lists to provide flexibility to admission staff when processing the application.
