greymatter v9.4 release includes Degree Plan. This will be a major feature benefitting Registrar Office staff, Students and Advisors to plan their program completion, to do degree audits and to analyze the impact of changing Programs.
Registrar
- Configure Program and Program Versions.
- Configure Program Requirements Group (for grouping Core, Elective and General courses).
- Add Courses to each Program Requirements Group.
- Define Course Requisites (both Pre-requisites and Co-requisites).
- Add attributes to define whether a course is mandatory, semester in which it can be taken, etc.
- Prepare Standard Program Plan.
- Enroll student in a Program.
- Maintain Academic Years.
- Generate Program Catalog and link it with Academic Year.
Student
- View Program Enrollment.
- Generate Degree Plan from Standard Program Plan.
- Modify Degree Plan by changing Courses and Semester student is planning to enroll.
- View approval status of Degree Plan.
- Perform What-If Analysis by changing Program.
- Perform Degree Audit to program completion status.
Advisor
- View Program Enrollment of student.
- View Standard Degree Plan for a Program Version.
- View Degree Plans submitted for processing.
- Perform What-If Analysis by changing Program for a student.
- Perform Degree Audit to program completion status for a student.
