Enhanced Keyboard Navigation: We have optimized keyboard navigation throughout the portal, making it easier for users who rely on keyboard inputs or screen readers to access and interact with all features seamlessly.
Color and Contrast Improvements: We have enhanced color choices and contrast ratios for links to make content more readable, ensuring that information is easily discernible for users with vision impairments. Non-text UI elements, such as buttons, and some text UI elements, such as links, now appear with improved color contrast to align with accessibility standards.
ARIA Roles and Attributes: We have incorporated ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) roles and attributes where needed to provide additional information and context for screen reader users. We have added ARIA labels where necessary to ensure our portal is more accessible.
Clear and Consistent Headings: We have updated the heading structure to provide clearer and more consistent page layouts, improving the flow and structure of content for screen reader users.
Clearer Text and Layout: We have refined the typography, spacing, and layout to ensure content is easier to read and understand, benefiting users with cognitive disabilities.
Continuous Compliance Testing: We continually test content and features for compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards, and do our best to remediate any issues to meet or exceed these standards.
